Heavy rains collapsed main road between Caracas and northeastern Venezuela








The rains that have hit Venezuela in recent weeks, and maintaining emergency in nine states, led Saturday's collapse of the main road linking Caracas with the country's northeast as well as many encumbrances on roads in the Andean region (western).
"There was the collapse of a trunk sewer in nine (...), the road linking the Anzoátegui State (northeast) to the capital and Miranda State (North). So far no flow and are evaluating alternative routes, "he told local media the regional director of Civil Protection, Evelys Spain.
