In recent days we have been informed that the tender process expected to have community radio stations in the capital cities of Colombia, has been postponed. It was reported that in the month of May would open the bidding, but new information says that the date has been postponed apparently considered the electoral process ahead of us.
This delay has two readings, the first leads us to assume that long to give the matter is inconvenient, since any delay means practically wait until 2008, since elections are in October and the two last months of the year and we know they are public holidays and vacations.
A second consideration that makes us think a little more time could be better prepared for bidding and be attentive to the process as transparent as possible and meets the expectation that the real communicators and managers in cities have had for a long time.
suggest you all do make a poll against this and discuss about what is best interest of the sector. If we make a good forum, with good arguments, we will have to end some valuable recommendations to make to the Ministry and support this process, we must defend and monitoring.
